Substitution ideas

The beauty of this dish is its customization. So, you don’t really have to stick to the ingredients strictly. You can always play with different ingredients or simply replace a few according to your liking. Here are a few substitution ideas for you to try:

  • Regular butter: we have used Spice Addicts Cajun Garlic Butter to add depth of flavor to this dish. But if you simply don’t want to use it, no problem. You can use regular butter to keep things simple.
  • Tuna: if you are a seafood lover, you cant skip tuna. It has a delicate flavor and soft texture, making it a good substitute for crab meat. If you don’t prefer crab meat or don’t have it available, canned tuna is the next best thing!
  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs: You can use any breadcrumbs you like for this recipe. From plain to panko, everything works right. If you don’t want to use breadcrumbs due to gluten sensitivities, feel free to replace them with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • Seasonings: We have used Spice Addicts Seafood seasoning for this recipe, but feel free to use any other spice you like. You can create your spice mix by combining different spices and herbs. Feel free to experiment and enjoy unique flavor blends.
  • Cheese: For extra richness, top seafood stuffed lobster tails with cheese. You can use parmesan cheese in the filling or top the tails with cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
